How to Make Money Blogging

It seems like everyone has a blog these days.

My friends have one, companies have one, celebrities have one, they are everywhere! The great thing about them is that you don’t need to be a  Michael Crichton to write a blog.  Blogs are meant to be personal with your own little ways of spelling and writing, this is what makes blogs so great.

But where do you start? It seems there are so many different blogs out there with so many different layouts, styles, purposes etc… it hurts your head even thinking about it. Learning How To Set Up A Blog

Hi there!  I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth or anything I have just been busy studying and learning about how to format my blogs to make posts easier to find and looking for income opportunities.  I am doing well with both endeavors and will post about the money making part very soon.  So, from now on check the Pages list to the right of the blog for all my posts. BlogProfitz – Scam or Money Maker

     OK, I have now been using Blog Profitz for a while now.  Did I make any money or is it a scam?  Those are the BIG questions now aren’t they.    It is NOT a scam.  However,  it claims that a newbie can do it.  With that I would disagree.  Also, you need to understand Affiliate Marketing.   I think I can make it work but being a newbie it will take a little time.  Now, if you are already an affiliate marketer it would be a nice addition to your campaigns.  I think they have a great product and for a monthly outlay of around $20 it is quite reasonable.   I will continue to use it and I am sure that  money can be made with the system.  You too should try it.   I have nothing but praise for the support I have received from them.  All my questions (and there were several) were answered in a more than timely fashion. The most important thing I have learned is that to make money successfully you need several tools.  I think BlogProfitz is an excellent tool and an easy one to implement.  It doesn’t require any extra outlay of money unlike most of the other systems online.  I would suggest you try it for youself.     TRY  BLOGPROFITZ 

Clickbank Code and Product Launch Pad

   Sorry it’s been so long since my last post, but I have been a very busy lady as of late!  I bought the Clickbank Code and The Product Launch Pad from Everprofits back in June.  Since they come with a 60 day money back guarantee I saw no harm in trying them.  The claim is that anybody even a newbie like myself can use the products and create income.  What the Clickbank Code leaves out is that you need money to make the money.  I decided not to try my hand at it since it suggests a budget of $500 for ad words.  I read and watched about 35 hours of video and text and decided that it wasn’t for me.  I was in a forum the other night and found a thread regarding the Clickbank Code and got to reading it.  I lot of non-newbies thought it was lacking info for a newbie and a few were quick to mention the cost of the adwords campaign.  Other than those 2 points most felt it wasn’t too bad of a product.  Made me feel bad!  Well let’s see how their refund policy works.  I am less than 30 days into the refund policy limit so lets see how quick they are to respond.

   I am still tweaking my BlogProfitz and trying to figure out how to use Click2Sell.  I’ll give an update on that soon.

Maverick Money Makers – scam or dream come true?

   I was sent an e-mail ad for Maverick Money Makers aka MMM and decided to check it out.   The first turn off for me was that it’s $97/month.  That’s $1164/year.  A bit to pricey for me anyway you break it down.  I decided to check the Internet to see what others had to say about it.  I had trouble finding someone out there who had something to say about MMM that wasn’t trying to sell it.  And if they weren’t selling it they were putting it down and trying to sell their product.  It got kinda funny.  I did find a site that claims to be a consumer advocacy site.  “Cynthia” calls herself a consumer advocate and reports on Internet products.   Honestly, I just read the report on MMM and most of the responses .  She considers it a scam, but she has a product that she says is better and less expensive.  She is up front about being an affiliate for her product.  The comments and replies are worth reading.  Some are funny.  I only read from the beginning in January 2009 to February 16th.   I would suggest any one looking to make money using the Internet read at least to 02/16 on her site at http://www.isitworththemoney.com/maverick-money-makers-scam-or-real-deal/

   Here is another post with a comment from someone who says he had been in the “Club”  for 2  months.   http://www.onlinemoneymakingscams.net/maverick-money-makers-scam-or-not/         This site has a better evaluation because he doesn’t seem to have a competing product to sell.

   I will not be trying out MMM.  If you have tried it, please let us know what you thought of it.

Surveys Are Fun But……

   I found taking surveys are fun but very time consuming.  The time spent taking surveys is a drop in the bucket compared to the time spent trying to opt-out and getting rid of the spam ads and unwanted e-mail.  LORDY!  I am still getting 15 + spams/day and another 15 unwanted e-mails!  I take the time to opt-out of each but it doesn’t seem to have made much of a dent.  Each of the websites states it can take 7 - 10 days for the opt-out to take effect, so I am still in that window for a lot of them.  A few of the sites use sneaky tactics in opting out.  They will tell you to click on the link and when you do, it will take you not to someplace to unsubscribe, but  to an ad or just to their site with no way to opt-out from there.  I have discovered that on almost all of those if you back out to the where you clicked to opt-out originally and re-click on the link a second time it will take you directly to the opt-out site.  Like I said, ” sneaky “.    I guess I don’t understand the survey game well enough to figure out why they would want to keep someone that is no longer interested.  Maybe they figure I’ll eventually buy something.

Lessons Learned

   I woke up this morning to 10 Spam messages and 4 unwanted e-mails from advertisers.  All of these were computer generated by the survey sites I had visited and/or joined.  You don’t have to join very many to get an overwhelming amount of e-mail ads.  The say they will not share your e-mail addy…………..except to their advertisers. OK, I can understand that. But, when it turns out that each survey site has 20 or more advertisers, well………….. that adds up!!  Live and learn. I just hope my sharing of what  I  learned helps some else. PLEASE,  don’t make my mistakes be in vain!   I have yet to make any money from my first money making venture.  I think  it is too early to tell how it’s going to work out.  I am still waiting for the other to arrive. I sent an e-mail to the site asking when I might expect it.   I sent it out  late last night,  so I don’t really expect an answer until tomorrow.   Now, that I am waiting  for it to arrive the days are dragging by.  It’s as bad as waiting for Christmas when you were a kid.  I WANT IT NOW!  I am really anxious to try it out!  I know, I’m a grown-up and I should have mastered patience by now.  I have,  just not when I get a new “toy” and I want to play with it.  Especially if this new toy might help me earn some money. Well, maybe it will show up today.  One can only hope.

   I mentioned the Wizard system for playing European Roulette and winning.  I have continued to play (with “play money”)  on a couple of casino sites and it really seems to work.  I am getting a bunch of money back from a closed escrow account ($2k) and I am going to use $200 of it to try the Wizard System out.  A good deal of the money will have to go to pay off my husband’s dental bill.  Even with insurance it cost us $3000 out-of-pocket. The sad part is he still needs more work.  But, he wants to put that off for awhile. He’s just not up to it right now.

   So check back and see how I do with my new ventures.

Ideas Abound

As you can see by the various posts on my blog, there are many people out there in the world that believe that they have the answer to our prayers of finding a way to make money.  I deleted the really cheesy posts.  Some still sound way too good to be true which is usually the first sign that something is fishy.  Remember the old adage, ”if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is”.  I’m not looking for a get rich over-night, screw some one over type thing.  I would just like to find something to make some extra cash.  Since I can’t get out, the internet seems to hold some promise.  But which one works? Do any of them?   Like you I haven’t a clue.  All of these are going to cost something somewhere down the road if not up front.  At this time I have invested less than $120 in two different oppertunites.  Neither of them promise riches overnight and I’m not screwing anyone over.  One of the two involves a monthly fee (less than $20) and the other provides training videos and books for a set fee.  They both require me to “work” but it is all done on the computer.  If I spend less time on them than I did the surveys I’ll be ahead of the game!  Speaking of the surveys, I have never found that $20.50 and I have spent about 2 hours over the last two days trying to opt-out of surveys and unsubscribe from all the e-mail ads, and I’m still not done.  Have you tried any of these ways and made money?  Let us know.
